Production

Bronkhorst has multiple productions sites in Europe. The greater part of our flow instruments is being manufactured in the Netherlands, either at our factory in Ruurlo or at our production site in Neede. Exception are our MASS-STREAM series. These flow instruments are produced by our daughter company Bronkhorst Instruments GmbH, located in Leonhardsbuch, Germany.

High Tech facilities in Ruurlo and Neede (NL)

Due to the enormous growth, our production location in Ruurlo reached its limits in 2019. We were lucky to find a facility in the neighboring town of Neede, which was perfectly suited for further expansion.
At the location in Neede you can find our:

Customized Flow Solution team, for customer-specific solutions
Core Technology Centre with sensor production, 3D printing, rapid prototyping and service
Production of our liquid flow instruments, such as our ultrasonic instruments and Coriolis flow meters.

A 3rd location in the Netherlands can be found in Enschede, at the Nanolab of the University of Twente. At this facility we produce our sensor chips, which are used for the assembly of some of our MEMS based instruments.

State-of-the-art facility in Leonhardsbuch (DE)

Bronkhorst Instruments is the German production site and a 100% Bronkhorst subsidiary since 1997, located in Leonhardsbuch, North of Munich. The former company name M+W Instruments GmbH has been changed into Bronkhorst Instruments GmbH in April 2022. At the end of 2021, the team relocated to a brand-new state-of-the-art production facility, with the opportunity to grow even further. This facility includes a Class VII certified cleanroom. The demand for cleanroom-built flow instruments by, for example, microchip manufacturers and pharmaceutical companies has increased a lot over the years.

Our team in Leonhardsbuch is specialized in manufacturing flow meters and flow controllers of our MASS-STREAM series. Besides production of these instruments, Bronkhorst Instruments handles purchasing, sales, quality control and accounting as well. The team in Leonhardsbuch works closely together with all our sales offices worldwide to provide the customer the best experience.
