CANopen®

The CANopen® interface has been developed in accordance with CiA 404, the profile describing closed-loop controllers that collect sensor signals and provide set values for actuators. Devices compliant to CiA 404 may support up to 199 transducer channels.

  • +24 Vdc power supply required
  • optional galvanic isolation up to 500 V (for data lines)
  • connection of max. 127 instruments to 1 bus
  • max. bus length: 5000 metres at 10 kBaud, 25 metres at 1 MBaud
